I have made a commitment to myself.. I will post my own version of my before and after pics in about 30 days.. I will post them on my own journal, and on this thread (if it is still active), I will use this as motivation to stay as close to 100% primal for the next 30 days...

Cool Coach81, I look forward to the inspiration. I will also post my 60 day mark pics on or around May 22nd. It is a little nerve racking to post pics of myself when I am not yet Grok Ripped, but I am using that and the promise to post on or around May 22nd as my motivation to really focus on being primal. I hate, hate, hate the way I look right now. Thank you for the inspiration Coach.

I'm not ready to post yet but I did start taking pics and there's already a difference, not as fluffy as before and my upper body looks more defined. I'll post in a month I think.

Awesome Beef & Iniquity!!! Yes, that is my plan.. I know I'm going to be taking a picture in about 30 days, I'm going to work as hard as I can, and stay as close to 100% as I can to see how well I can make that picture turn out!!!

Good luck guys.. let's take it one day at a time!

Taking it one day at a time becomes harder when you feel you're getting closer! but yeah I have to keep reminding myself to take it slow and let nature run its course.

Wow. I need to get off my lazy butt and actually do this seriously for more than a few days. These results are like what you see on TV, and I always think it's too good to be true.... just WOW.

Regarding a lack of patience, I try to stay focused on the journey and all the good things it brings to me, not just the weight loss. We will get there - and stay there! We are so much better off for being here at MDA. The use of mantras and theme songs helps me, too. I'll post some later....

Oh, and, Grokette, you are my hero! Your "before" is very similar to where I began my Primal Living. You inspire me!

Here are some healthy living mantras I like to play with:
                      1. Progress not perfection.
                      2. Endurance
                      3. Put your big girl pants on and get over it.
                      4. Banking the pain
                      5. This hill is mine.
                      6. No excuses.
                      7. I won't regret what I don't eat.
                      8. I don't want to be part of the obesity of America.
                      9. Eating clean; training mean.
                      10. Slow & steady wins the race.
                      11. Desire, dedication, discipline
                      12. I'm getting healthier every minute.
                      13. Fitness is a friend.
                      14. I just have to move.
                      15. I can stop in 30 minutes.
                      16. Nothing tastes as good as feeling healthy feels.
                      17. I am an athlete.
                      18. I am hard-core. (Within the perimeters of MDA! We know we don't need to bust it all the time!)
                      19. I kick ass.
                      20. Relentless!
                      21. Put one foot in front of the other.
                      22. Define yourself.
                      23. Stay focased.
                      24. You can handle it.
                      25. I am strong.
                      26. Pain is where progress is being made.
                      27. I will keep on.
                      28. Breathe easy.
                      29. Just keep going.
                      30. Good for me!
                      BONUS:
                      31. Pain is weakness leaving the body.
                      32. Go for the burn.
                      33. I am not going to quit.
                      34. Patience & perseverance.
                      35. It's GO time!
                      36. If I don't push myself, how do I know where I can go?
                      37. Go, Go, Go
                      38. It's on bitches!
                      39. Motion is lotion!

With someone who was living with near constant acid reflux/bowel discomfort/constipation i value this one most!

Here's one 9 months into the PB. Down 20lbs of BF. I've got some middle aged guy skin stuff going on,(can't reverse the aging thing you know) and a little around the middle to lose yet. 53yrs old. I've put back on a little muscle mass since the last photo in this thread.
