  • Gadsie, it's great that you didn't lose strength, but I think you looked better with a "fuller" look like on the first pic.
Still I kinda know your pain and how hard it is for you to maintain a good weight. Keep working on it man, you've improved

Hey Lyns, the difference is here, and it will be more noticeable from now. I bet even if on a photograph you don't see much difference, it's because for the moment your body kept the same kind of "shape", but much smaller in proportions. I'm pretty sure in real life the difference is huge
    AND YOUR TATTOO IS AWESOME

        • Good job Bosstycoon, you'll get there eventually !
          Thank you so much Lyns
Thank you every one for the kind words. I think I'm blushing and don't deserve these kinds of compliments hehe

It's very strange because I keep improving without doing any sports hehe, the primal WOE is just awesome for a growing individual. It does wonders.

I am not close to my target, but inching closer every day. On the left (august,2010), I was roughly 430lbs with type 2 diabetes (in that pic, I didn't know it yet). I didn't really start on the primal blueprint untill January 1st of this year. Before that I was mostly CW and lost some weight though hard fought (lost 40lbs in 2011 on CW, Lost 70+ This year alone) On the right(May 12, 2012), I am a 308lb Level 1 certified Krav Maga practicioner and no longer a diabetic. I currently weigh in at 295lbs. Just thought I would share.
Hank, I am a fellow lurker... but my first post goes to you: What an inspiration! Thank you for sharing!

                  • from left/right then bottom

                    august 10,2010. May 5th 2102. july 20thish,2012. bottom:september 4th, 2012.

Between 2010 and 2102 I have no pictures of myself. I started "kinda" primal february of 2011, fell off in august (did lose about 60 lbs). Then 100% January 1st of this year and haven't looked back since.

Would I be putting a grain-feed cow on a fad diet if I took it out of the feedlot and put it on pasture eating the grass nature intended?

                              • Well, I said I was going to stop posting progressions here and just keep it to the journal.... then I remember the first time I looked through here and realized.... pay it forward, dude. I'm trying to link a skinny-fat picture from my first post in this thread back in March, maybe it shows up and maybe no....

                                Skinny-fat, back in the day....

Have I thanked Mark Sisson, and the positive crowd I've found here at MDA yet? I don't think I'll ever be done doing that....

By the way, WeldingHank is my hero! You kick ass, dude!
