It is so interesting to see how the fat drops off. For me, it came off my head and neck first, then my shoulders and chest, then my upper abs. Then the surviving fat dug in for a die-hard last stand around my navel, refusing to surrender. This morning the forces of slimness will make another bayonet charge.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.
My first post on MDA after stumbling onto it a little under a year ago. Went from 340 pounds at 6 foot to my current weight of 198. There is still some work to be done. I started primal on August 31st, 2011. Apologies for the pictures being so large, I tried to make them smaller on photobucket, but.. eh.
There was no "before" picture of me in the mirror with just my undies on, these were all just random pictures taken by friends. I was one of those "no pictures or I break your camera" or "don't you know cameras can steal your soul?" guys. I was inspired by this thread to hunt up old pictures of me, just to see what sort of difference there was. I certainly didn't have any old pictures of me lying around, so I had to ask around. And holy crap, I can't believe the changes. You don't see them while they're happening slowly to you without photographic evidence like many of you have. And no, it's not the same white shirt. The big shirt is probably a 4 or 5 XL, whereas I'm down to an XL now (and I think the XL is baggier on me now than the 4XL was then). Well, let's get to pictures.
