Honestly? In a word. Random.
I try to go by feel and listen to what my body wants. I do tabata sprints on my stationary bike once a weekish. Random pull ups whenever I pass the doorway where my pull up bar is. A 3-4 mile run about once a week- throwing a good hard sprint in there sometimes. PEMs- usually with added weight to squats and dead lifts once or twice a week. I love yoga, so I usually end up doing sun salutations and practicing arm balance poses almost daily. I play a lot- wrestle and toss around my kids. Go for walks (which often turn into carries) with the munchkins, pedal on my recumbent stationary bike while I read sometimes. Since going primal my energy has increased and I just move when I feel like I need to- which usually has me doing push ups, pull ups or handstands every hour. I take my kids outside to play in the sun often. Like I said- completely random! Some days I just sit around on my tush and make sure the kids are fed. I have upped the running a bit recently as I'm gearing up for some relay and mud races this summer.
