I'd like to say you can check out my journal, but I am awful at updating it... :/
Yesterday's food looked like this:
B: Muscle Milk Shake (I know it's not the best, but I'm still working out a good quick breakfast to take with me), and two hard boiled eggs
L: Coconut Curry Chicken stir-fry(with a ton of veggies), and a smallish salad(no dressing)
D: Taco Salad(no shells) - beef, onion, garlic, spinach, guac, and tomatoes.
Snack: handful of almonds and 1 square of Lindt's 85% dark choc.
Just about everything is organic and home-made except the muscle milk and the chocolate.
That is fairly typical, though I usually just have a big ass salad for lunch. Just had some stir fry left over from the day before.
As far as fitness:
I rock climb 2-3 days a week for 2-3 hours a piece.
I was doing my own concoction of bodyweight exercises 3 days a week(HIIT push ups, pull ups, squats, planks) mixed with occasional sand bag routines depending on my mood, but have just switched to trying out simple fit. I'm planning on sticking with that for at least a month or so, and gauging my results. I want to start doing sprints soon, but i still have a ton of snow where i live, and no access to any sort of treadmill or stationary bike. I try and spend as much free time doing random playful things as possible(paintball, walking around the city, climbing/jumping off city features, chasing after my friend's dogs and wrestling with them, etc...). I'll also be spending as many weekends in the wild as possible come spring/summer(climbing, backpacking, frolicking, etc..). I think my personal computer being broken has helped a ton-no reason to stay at home sitting around.....
Oh, and I sit at a desk and draw pictures for 8 hours a day.
Promised myself I would do this. Today is the end of mine and my husband's Beach Ready 30 (basically about 95% Whole 30 compliant), and 2/28 will mark 3 months of us being Primal (but we'll be on vacation), so I thought I would post some Before and During pics --no way I'm stoppin' now!!
I don't know your actual age but you look ten years younger in the last picture. Fitter. Healthier. Stronger
These are nowhere as near as impressive as some of the ones in this thread, but here goes. I've been gluten-free for almost 2 years, and Primal for only about 2 months. My arms actually change shapes when I flex them now!
September 2010, in the port getting ready to leave on my cruise
November 2010, giving a friend a hug at our Family-Free Thanksgiving
February 2011, after hiking most of the way up the canyon (no, I wasn't about to fall over, BS was standing next to me and I had my arm around him)
Fair warning, I tend to randomly purge any pictures that actually have my face in them, so these may not be there forever.
Most people don't realize how much energy it takes for me to pretend to be normal.
