And today I'm down two pounds (back to my starting weight, basically) and I'm at 37.5" at my waist at my belly-button! Yes! When I started, I was this weight, but with a 40" waist! So, cow dairy seems to be causing inflammation/bloat/something. Even if it's delicious creme fraiche. (Waaah.)
Remember, Self? When you have up all dairy last year and started losing weight? Remember that? LEAVE ME ALONE, YOU. MY PRECIOUSSS...
I just started my second Whole30. I read that again this time too and was like "Who the F wants to go through this shit??" lol But, here I am. waiting for the Kill all the Things phase.
I couldn't help but laugh as I was reading your journal post about your move. And then I chuckled out loud and the gal in my office is like "what's so funny?" So I had to explain to her that you moved, got two tickets valued at over 200 bucks and got hit on by a beat cop. lol She laughed and said you should have suckered them into helping you move and I said "it says here that they helped". She laughed too.
Anyhow... I would love to see you do the Whole30 too. I think it's essentially the same as a reset b/c I noticed major changes that Dr. whatshisname said I would experience on a reset. Pretty much it's the same foods, so why not?

Reading this again, Jenn, and seeing that you saw the changes on a W30 that come with a reset. Interesting! After the last two Apple Gouda sausages are down the hatch, I should be on a W30. . W30/LR/keto combo??? Hmm...
Been a couple of days b/c of family obligations - only hit a couple of journals while I was away from work. I trust you avoided teh chocolate and ice cream??
A Ketogenic Whole30 will be hard - without dairy you'll be eating coconut oil straight from the jar to boost your fats! lol Let me know how it goes.
I avoided the chocolate and ice cream! I've been W30 today...W1! I'm eating high fat meats (sausages w/ 20 g a piece), deviled eggs, bacon and liver, avocados, and CO. What happened after I got rid of dairy is my hunger dropped. Might be a quirk, we'll see what happens in the next few days. my cals were around 2000-2500 (with one day of 3000), and for the past few days I've been around 1300-1600 cals. Weird! Who knows...
I went to an awesome clothing exchange party tonight. My bottom line was no sugar and no wheat and I succeeded! I had wine and antipasto and veggie sushi (so rice) and those rose chocolates made with honey. So sue me. I gave away a lot of clothes and it feels good to see a woman put on something you brought and she looks and feels damn fine in it. I also got quite a haul too! YES! If I wake up in the middle of the night, heart pounding and nauseous from party food, well, then I'll know!
Went to another BBQ today. This one was more difficult. There was only sugary soda and sugary lemonade to drink, and there were pies and tarts. The pies talked to me, it's true. I had a hard time staying present with people. But I didn't have any pie! Hard line no sugar, no wheat! Ate delicious deviled eggs, BBQ chicken, Camembert and salad!
what is a clothing swap party? I mean, it seems self explanatory, but is it just people on a weight loss journey or people with too many clothes who are interested in giving some away or anyone who wants to change up their wardrobe? How's it work?

Kansas. My brother's radiation treatment is over and I'm staying with family to save BACK up to go back to LA. Staying here for a bit to do that and super need the cash right now. Very low on funds and need to buy my delicious fats!
Telling on myself: I had a DQ ice cream sandwich and a DQ bacon cheeseburger because they're cheap. I'm now woozy, nauseous, anxious, light-headed, slightly panicky, and have difficulty focusing and sitting still. UGH SELF WHEN WILL YOU LEARN!
