  • "You have a calm pulse."

I was at the doc's today, and the nurse took my blood pressure and my pulse. BP was 100/60 -- fairly normal for me, even before I went primal. But when she took my pulse, she said, "You have a calm pulse." I asked what that meant.

My resting pulse was 58 beats per minute.

But dang, I love how being primal is helping me be calm.

After 9 months primal, my BP has gone from 140/80 to 105/60. I love this diet!

Yeah the few times I've hit the doc in the past year or so, I've always counted my pulse at the same time they do (i.e., when they're "checking your breathing"). It's in the neighborhood of 60BPM, and my blood pressure is varies slightly from about 108/64 or so.
Are you a college student, trying to navigate college while being Primal? Do you know any other PB college students on a tight budget? Heck, for that matter, are YOU trying to live Primal on a budget? Enroll at Primal University!

For after all what is man in nature? A nothing in relation to infinity, all in relation to nothing, a central point between nothing and all and infinitely far from understanding either.

My resting heart rate was 43, machine that monitors the heart rate in the ER kept going off since it was so low lol, they were concered
but I told them I used to be super active. Funny thing is tho I haven't done chronic cardio for 6 months but its still around upper 40s.
