First off, hello everyone. Bit of background - I have been acive my whole life from kempo karate and soccer as a little brat to high school football to college triathlons and half marathons. I have been slowly working to 100% paleo or primal, started about a year ago, and have been 99% for about 3 months now. Anyway, I have been eating three square meals a day high protien and fat and very low carb, trying to keep under 50 grams per day. I am 180 pounds, 6 foot, 25 yo male, and I am guessing (est off fitday) I eat around 2500kcal a day. I play the IF game by missing a dinner or breakfast here or there, and recently I eat dinner around 4pm and not eat again untill 7am breakfast on nights i roll BJJ.
My question is about post workout. I am really torn if i should eat after my 2 hour BJJ classes. My normal diet looks like:
6:30 5 eggs, 2/3 can lite coconut milk, 1 scoop 100% cocoa, and some milled 100% raw organic hemp seed
11:30 2 chicken breasts, 2 tomatos, and a whole hass avacado
4:30 3 salmon filets, a bell pepper, and a whole bunch of macadamia nuts
So am I really loosing that much by not eating PW? I usually roll bjj (or MMA/Kickbox) 4 times a week and lift twice a week...
