  • Why I Don't Really Come Around Here Anymore.. (90 lbs lost)

To be honest... I don't need to...

And that in itself is a success story.

Ultimately I come here for some comedy (the Funny CW moments thread is great) or new recipes. It's been since March of 2010 and I no longer feel the need to vent about CW coworkers. I can control my weight with an amount of precision that would have shocked the old fat me.

    90 lbs lost.
    Dandruff gone.
    Hemorrhoids gone.
    Diabetes gone.
    Farting gone.
    Stomach aching gone.
    Nutrition and exercise understanding achieved.
    Food industry understanding achieved.
    Zen... achieved.

    BEFORE & CURRENT PICTURE: http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/9949/jljadf.jpg

For the first time in my adult life I feel in control of my future and my health. Oh and btw... my office had a health test thing that if we passed the tests our health insurance preminum would go down (so you get rewarded for being healthy). There were 10 tests. I passed all ten and I guarantee I would have failed every one back in March 2010 (if I would have even taken them... I probably would have skipped them for fear of embarrassment).

So yeah, I've made a lot of friends on here and I hope y'all don't think I've given up the dream or anything. I've just grown my wings and flew the nest... but rest assure I will come back from time to time to check out how this community grows.

I'm just so glad I found this all out at the age of 24 (currently 25 now). I know I've added years... hell, decades to my life!

On the office health test, how did you pass the cholesterol tests? Did your cholesterol also go down? Not everyone's does, nor do many worry if it doesn't...

    Congratulations btw!!!!!!! Well done!!!!

I was surprised about cholesterol going down as well... and I wasn't gonna be bov'vered if it didn't... but I'm so glad it did because I eat bacon a LOT at work and I am always getting this "yeah... you're thin... but you're gonna have a heart attack in the next five years eating like that" (says the fat asses I work with!)

So now that I have lower cholesterol than them I want to be like "BOO YAH! IN YOUR F*CKING FACE!"

You should put that on a t-shirt and wear it to the office! FABULOUS success story; awesome pictures.

Hallowprince, well fricking done! I'm really glad you popped back in because I hadn't seen your latest pic. I remember when you were getting started, around pic #2. You had the same winning attitude then and your body caught up with your mind! You look amazing now.
