  • I bought 34 waist jeans today. I'd been a 38 since high school. At my worst I was a 40. At Christmas, I bought my first pair of 36's since my freshman year of HS. Now they fall off me.

Ahh! I need a new belt. My 36 belt is on it's last notch...

    • I recently had to buy a whole new wardrobe in 2s and 0s. Down from "I should go up to 6, but I won't" in March.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, steak in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Holy F***, What a Ride!"

        • Not size related, but confidence.... I flirted outrageously all week (residential training course) AND had the guts to say I'd like to see him again....

          • I've officially lost over 90 pounds. I'm down to 305.

6 pounds more and I'll be below 300 for the first time since I was in high school, which is... a lot longer than I care to think about, thanks.

            • Griff that is AWESOME! Congratulations. And if I recall correctly, that's in about 10 months, right?

              • @groquette: Yep, in two months I'll have been Primal for a year - and I fully expect to be down more than 100 pounds when I hit my one-year mark on the 15th of August.

                • I think I'm at losing at about half your rate... I fully expect to have lost more than 50 lbs when I hit my 1 year mark on August 25th (I've lost 45 lbs so far). I'm not complaining! :-)

                  • I've finally come to a point that I don't feel the need to record daily food intake or weigh myself every day (or more!). I'm comfortable knowing what and how much I have to eat to feel and function well, and am going to cut down my scale time to once every five days.

I just did a pushup with both arms behind my back...

Also, that's nice man I don't think I'm up to that on both arms yet, just my right.

                            • You know this has been a very inspiring thread for me. I got something else to add today. Out on a long "move slowly" day today, I finally found a connector trail that allows me to access an entirely new trail network. Incredibly beautiful scenery, wonderful trails, and some perfect locations for trail sprints. There's also a cool spot for some rock scrambling as well. I felt like a kid in a candy store today (well, ok, not one of OUR kids, but you know what I mean)
