...at least on grain-fed meats. unless youre eating grass-fed and are truly eating the whole animal (organ meats, bone marrow, etc.) i would not recommend it at all. for a few months i cut out most veggies and was eating lots of meat fat and nuts (occasional offal) and i ended up losing a LOT of hair, missed my period for 6 months lost weight then gained it back (although weight isn't a huge concern for me) and was told that i tested positive for a clotting agent in my blood by my gynecologist. i reintroduced a variety of veggies and am buying grass-fed. im also supplmenting with a daily vitamin and omega-3. i now have much less hair loss, finally got my period and generally feel better.
