I am on day two and feel like CRAP! How long will I go through detox from wheat and sugar? I seriously just want to sleep through this. Anything I can do to help this detox phase metabolize faster?

    Yes, add some sugar

Seriously though, if you do it cold turkey, you're just going to have to suck it up. Try adding some fruit and vegetables to get your carbs up. It should make it easier on you.

Same thing happens to me after a bad week of eating, or a short break from my "primal" routine...for some reason I also crave cookies

More fruit and tons of water work for me, as others have suggested

TONS of water is what did it for me. I acctually started getting muscle cramps from detox (boy did that suck!) I found drinking enough water to keep my back teeth floating constantly really really helped. About a week later and I no longer needed the massive amounts of water.

This is the low-carb flu. It passes. Be strong. In the meantime, drink lots and lots of water.

Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

I've been using a bit of kombucha to clear up from last week's poor eating choices. It's been helping (in small doses) to curb the cravings.

If you keep busy and distracted the time will fly by. Try making every day seem a bit better by cooking a massive steak at the end of the day and knowing that you can eat it and be healthy! It seems to pass for most people in no longer than 3 weeks.

Oh and try your best not to give in to the cravings. It will set you back a few days on your detox. Good luck
