  • Yeah, lovely! Little messing when it comes to fish - just a light, zingy sauce of some variety and you're done ...

I've got some lovely thick Cornish Hake chops for tonight. Straight through, so just steamed, pull the spines and they come away with the skin. I'm erring on the side of ratatouille to accompany, shaved fennel and butter to spoon over.

    • Joe's Crab Shack:

Had "The Great Barrier": Antarctic King crab, clams, shrimp, New Zealand green lip mussels and smoked sausage finished with a spicy garlic wine sauce and Old Bay Seasoning.

Close enough to primal... but I'm gonna drink me a few beers tonight. Totally good beer though

            • Last night, I made stuffed acorn squash (turkey, onions, carrots, garlic). It was a little Thanksgiving-y, really tasty & filling.

Some spicy home made mayo, crock pot free range chicken, bell pepper, onion, avacado, garlic..... thats just what I see.... the wife made it so I'm not sure on every single ingredient. It's excellent though!

I know exactly what you mean by 'salad' >wink<
I was talking to an obese woman the other day, we were just about to have lunch. She said she'd just ordered a ''nice, healthy sandwich on whole wheat bread with margarine.'' When she asked me what I was going to have I said 'a nice healthy salad.''
She nodded approvingly, then just about fell off her chair when she saw the ingredients.
Not to mention the olive oil I drizzled over it...

Also nice but that steak was something else-wish i could afford to eat it more often!

                              • Weirdest dinner ever last night:

~1/4 pint of blueberries, 1 lb bacon, and a pluot. I didn't even know what a pluot was. Kind of a post-workout clean out the fridge kind of meal.
