Thanks for all the ideas! I was browsing the market last night and kept picking up dressing, grimacing then putting it back on the shelf.
    Holy sugar amounts batman!! o.O

    But these dressings sound fabulous.

*Olive Oil, Dijon Mustard & White Wine Vinegar - DELICIOUS! You could add some thyme or rosemary & garlic too if you'd like.

*Flax seed Oil, Mustard, Apple Cider Vinegar & A Dash of Water

I have a question regarding the Worcestershire Sauce you all use when making your dressings/marinade...is there any brand you like more than another or do you make this at home as well?

Quite a few yummy ideas on here! For my everyday type salad (esp w/ a tasty hunk of meat or fish on top), usually just olive oil and lemon juice, sometimes with a dash of adobo sauce mixed in. But a favorite dressing of mine for a large group or a slaw type salad is:

1 large carrot, 2-3 shallots, 1/2 small green apple, 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar, 1/3 cup mayo (homemade is best), 1 tsp Chinese five spice, coarse salt and ground pepper to taste.

All thrown into processor or blender until it's a chunky liquid.
Really tangy and tart. So delish. Especially good w/ cabbage based salads or thicker leaved greens like malabar.
