  • Your favorite (tried and tested!) dessert recipe?

I am determined to start making our own Paleo desserts when we want to indulge, rather than end up buying stuff from outside.

Whats your favorite recipe that you have used, and people (non-Paleo especially!) have loved the outcome?

    Thanks!

@Goldie - can you taste the avocado in this? My hubby doesn't like the taste and texture of avocados, even though I don't think they actually "taste" like anything, but I would love to be able to make a sweet treat without using SAD ingredients...

Sliced bananas covered in melted dark chocolate and a little cream topped with toasted coconut flakes. Chocolate dipped strawberries.

Mixed berries (nuke them to warm them and make them a bit syrupy) with coconut flakes and cream

I make this for my family without the maple syrup, but I add a banana or 2 instead.
They love it, and it doesn't taste like avocado.

                      Bahaha, how you know?

Actually, ironically, the last 3 custards I baked were not chocolate. I preemptively purchased 5 BPA-free cans of organic pumpkin at Sprouts when they were on sale, and didn't know how else to use them up. Although I've been adding a few chocolate chips in every ramekin, so maybe it still counts

No, you can't taste the avocado at all. It tastes like maybe it has a touch of some exotic liqueur, even though it doesn't. It's very rich and creamy!
