I just discovered watermelon radish's. They are huge, like a turnip, white-ish green on the outside and brilliant pink on the inside. Fearing it would lose it's beautiful colour in the steamer, I baked it in slices and slathered it with a bit of coconut butter and sea salt. Totally AMAZING side dish to my elk burger wrapped in a collard green. They are sweet, spicy, very low in carbs and high in nutrients. Give'em a try some time soon.
