I'm currently working my way through the garam masala that I brought back from India. It is the bomb.

Sooooo... coordinating our side dishes is going to be interesting. The bird takes up our whole oven, and we still need to cook our mash, roast root veggies, corn bread, and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies (and/or loaf). Oh and pie. The man says the bird can be taken out and rest an hour before dinner and everything else can be cooked at that time.
Me being the eager beaver made the corn bread batter, but it won't be able to go in to the oven for another 2 hours. Genius. Trying to figure out how to keep it moist. Hmmm... I might add some applesauce before going in if it needs it.

Big thank you to everyone for their input!

Thanks to the great recipes on theclothesmakethegirl/, Paleo Diet Lifestyle | paleo diet tips and recipes, http://nomnompaleo.com/, and the wonderful input of everyone here....Turkey Day was a success!

My non-Primal family and I had a delicious dinner of Bacon Butternut Squash Soup (with a touch of garam masala. so freaking good despite being nearly mashed-potato-like in consistency.), goat-cheese-stuffed-mushrooms, coconut flour cheddar biscuits, roast sweet potatoes, the bird (of course), cranberry sauce, various odds and ends, and, to top it off, pumpkin spice cake rolls.

        Thank you!
