    Soba is just so good, anyway I tried baking a mini chocolate cake with buckwheat and it turned out wonderful.

      I'm guessing tapioca flour is out of the question? It's the only flour I bake with, to do mini bready cookies or what not, althoug I don't know how it would turn out to do something bigger, like bread or pancakes.

        Actually, tapioca flour is more "Primal" than buckwheat. Tapioca is made from cassava, a tuber, while buckwheat is made from a seed. Tapioca is very low in anti-nutrients, whereas buckwheat should be soaked to lessen the anti-nutrients that it contains.
