I think it just has to say "Contains milk" as an allergen alert.

If it just says "Cream" for the ingredients, but also says "Contains milk" below that, I'm pretty sure it's still just plain cream. I don't think the USDA sees a difference between milk and milk products when it labels for allergens.

In my coffee it is a bit less sweet than the cream at home which makes me wonder... well, maybe I'll just stick with local cream - at least I can say that I've seen the cows this cream comes from. I am, however, looking forward to using some of my coconut oil in my morning coffee... I never even thought...
Meadow Gold is wonderfully thick. It's also wonderfully packed with mono- hoobee -doo -glycerides.

I second the Kalona Naturals cream! Good stuff. And I figured out a trick for not having it spoil before I can use it up.

Most of the time I only use it in my coffee so I often have 1/8-1/4 of the jug go sour before I use it up. Not good from either a food or money wasting standpoint!

So I save my old yogurt containers and I freeze the cream in single serving sizes! The disk shape made by freezing in the yogurt container fit in my coffee cup just fine and melts faster then if I freeze it in ice cube trays. IF I remember sometimes I pull a new disk out each night so it's already thawed the next day but usually I just toss a frozen cream disk in my cup and pour hot coffee on it. Works for me!

So now when the KN cream goes on sale I can buy up a few of them! (the texture sometimes is slightly off when it thaws but I really never notice in my coffee. I notice the texture a bit more if I use the cream for anything where the cream is obvious like pouring it over berries but it tastes so good that I don't care!)

A tbsp of grass fed butter is delicious and tastes better than cream
