I'm a dude and i need a bit of help.

I have a boneless lamb shoulder roast piece sitting in the fridge. It's about 1kg, i was going to oven roast it but realised we had a slow cooker and thought that would be a safer option.

How to do i go about making it so that it is juicy and fatty-ish. I have beef stock if that helps..

Mark's BLT - tried this tonight

Butterfly a chicken breast, ie cut in half through width, but not completely, enough to fold it out flat
        Fry both sides
once cooked, insert mayo, bacon, tomato, avocado
        eat like a sandwich

easy for baby McCool to eat too

What is it with guys that cant cook? Seriously guys suck it up and effing learn, I am sick of hearing about men that cant cook to save their lives. Where I work, all the men look at me like I am a freak for cooking good food all on my own and the women cluck about my lousy wife. I can cook, I can sew, I can embroider the garb I just made by hand and I can change diapers. WHY is this so strange?

Are you children that need to be taken care of? sheesh.

Okay, I've been rockin' this recipe a lot lately because it's SOOOO good. Oven Roasted Tilapia With Tomatoes, Pesto And Lemon Recipe - Food.com - 290644 Last night I used roma tomatoes and it was even better. This would work with pretty much any kind of fish I would imagine and for variety I've been buying whole live clams, cleaning them and mixing them in with the roast tomatoes. 1. Roast tomatoes according to linked recipe. 2. Throw the cleaned clams in and stir. 3. Return to the oven for 10 minutes, giving it a good stir half way through. 4. Add a couple of the squeezed lemon wedges to the mix, lay the fish on top and follow the rest of the recipe.

My easy take on Original Joe's "Joe's Special."

Ground beef - break it up and cook it up in a pan.
Frozen (thawed) spinach is easier to work with but fresh will work. Add to ground beef and stir with beef until wilted or hot.
Eggs - break over the entire mixture and gently work them into the dish until firm. You want to be able to see small pieces, but not big globs.
              Season to taste.
If you eat cheese at all, a little parm. reg. grated over the top is good.

Once you have that down, you can change it up or add to it. Garlic, onions, zucchini, collards or mustard greens instead of the spinach. Go nuts! Actually, I don't use nuts, but I bet slivered almonds would be a good addition.
"Right is right, even if no one is doing it; wrong is wrong, even if everyone is doing it." - St. Augustine

Calm down, dude. Some of us put our priorities on other matters. In high school I had my mom and Papa John to make me meals, in college the university and coaches told me what to do eat and provided it for me, and out of college I dirty bulked so I ate whatever came within a 12 foot radius of my mouth.

I can grill the balls out of a cow, but besides that I didn't really need a reason to go recipe hunting. Hence this thread.

As for the other things you mentioned, my record for changing a fully loaded diaper (with onesie and pants) is 32 seconds.

                Also, fuck sewing.

I gotta agree with you on that. I find it tedious and boring. I'm getting pretty good with an angle grinder, though.

Hahahaha My point was that I hate that folks assume I am a guy therefore I cant do for myself. Food is and always way a priority to me, I hate being taken care of too. If you had folks feeding you then they did you no favours.

Sewing is kinda boring but I can make what I want and I dont have to have some one charge me for the making. All in all I guess I am cheap.

                                Dudecpie for PWO:
You take shitload of potatoes. You get the skin off, boil em down and toss em to the mixer
Add some garlic, salt and olive oil to the mix.
Then in a pan, wet it with coconut oil cut some onion and toss ground beef and/or heart
toss everything to a bowl. mix it. done.
