The only time I've had bitter yogurt was when I took a bite without looking first... then noticed it was covered in mold. Not the probiotic kind either :P

Yeah no kidding, that made me gag a little LOL

Bitter/sour yogurt - well I did sometimes add berries and/or a little maple syrup to mine if it bugged me. I also avoid wheat, so that's why I used the potato chips... something about the starchy fatty salty mix that soothed everything.

Geez, good luck ladies! I'm so glad to be out of that stage - now I just waddle and swell up whenever it I stand for 5+ minutes - but at least I can EAT. you'll be out of the woods soon enough!

LOL. Hey sometimes you feel a million times better after you puke.

so glad I'm done with all day sickness, and extra glad it only lasted 2 weeks! I hope you find something that works for you.

So while Grace was throwing up tonight it suddenly occurred to me.

            IPECACUANHA!

It's a homeopathic remedy for nausea/vomiting. Worth a try. You should be able to find it at your local health food store. Some groceries with super awesome health sections might even carry it. Ours is Hylands brand.

I haven't been pregnant in 20 years, but I was plenty nauseous during the early stages of both my pregnancies. Nonprimal, of course, back then. What about sucking on wedges of cold fresh orange? I've found that to be really refreshing and gentle when not feeling well.

Hi, I haven't been pregnant for 19 years, but when I was and was throwing up all day, I found eating apples useful. They helped with the nausea, but they were also the least disgusting thing on the way back up again, and were easy to carry with me all the time.

It was my beloved Fage! And I checked. Not covered in mold. -_-

I had some Strauss yogurt this morning, and it was pleasantly tangy. So I dunno. I guess I'll just live without Fage for a while. T_T

Sea bands. They use acupressure points on the wrists. Good for motion sickness and allegedly morning sickness too. My younger daughter got travel sick. Put sea bands on her wrists, drove ten miles down a bumpy road, filled her up with Fish 'n' Chips (large fries to you colonials) and coke and then drove back to give them a good test. Although they don't work for everybody, they certainly worked for her.
Why use a sledge hammer to crack a nut when a steam roller is even more effective, and, is fun to drive.

If it helps at all, my beloved Fage has fallen from favor here as well. Better Whey of Life Greek yogurt has taken its place, though I can only find it at Whole Foods in Salt Lake City, and that's a good 45 min drive away.

Yeah...it was the only yogurt I could find in the grocery store yesterday morning that was worth my moneys. Everything else was either 0% or had tons of sugar. Or was Yoplait. Blargh.

Thanks to everyone's suggestions. I seem to be okay today; I'm told it can come and go, so probably by Sunday I'll be dreading food again.

Mom also suggested saltines; I think I'll get some from the gluten free store since I have a coupon there and why not. I think the baked potato I had last night actually helped a lot.

good luck! Just remember to work with your body. If you're super worried about getting nutrition, you can always research protein powder and decide if it's for you. Some mornings I've turned to my Sun Warrior raw vegan protein powder and my blood sugar seems to react better to it than whey.

look for the ipecha-schwa-hoobie-doobie stuff I mentioned and see if it helps

This --> Lipton Herbal Ginger Tea

Also my last pregnancy (last summer) I noticed that when I didn't eat because of a jumpy stomach, my nausea got that much worse. So maybe once the queasiness passes, stuff face?

I figured out a few weeks ago that as long as I ate by 9a, I pretty much didn't get my all day sickness. Got it a couple of times, but not nearly as bad.
