Some gorgeous person gave me some milk kefir grains, and I'd like to make some coconut kefir. I am on a tight budget so I have eschewed canned coconut milk for creamed coconut (Blue Dragon - Coconut products - Creamed Coconut Block) which is fortuitously yields coconut milk which is just coconut + water and no additives. Only thing is, ALL the info on coconut milk kefir online is based on the canned stuff (including Mark's post so don't quote it to me ). Has anyone tried it my way? I'm new to kefir so I don't really know what I'm doing.
