    Here's what I threw together and how--but I think it is missing something and I can't think what...

    (Oh, and I didn't really measure anything, so just go with me on this)

    1 cup +/- of sunflower butter (did have some sugar as an ingredient, not too sweet though; and I won't get it next time since I am cutting out all sources of sugar)

    1/3 cup +/- of Hershey's cocoa powder

    3/4 to 1 cup of unsweeted fine shred coconut

    two packets of Stevia

    Mixed and refrigerated. It was a very dry/tight mix.

    The idea was to make some variant on chocolate macaroons. I don't hate the result, I just don't think I succeeded in my endeavor.

    Opinions/suggestions anyone?

    Usually macaroons also include egg whites and are baked. Try adding 2 into the mix and baking at 350F for ~15 minutes.

    Not really familiar with sunflower butter, so hard for me to tell what that does to the consistency or flavor.

      Unrefinedkitchen.com has a nice recipe for Chocolate Coconut No-bakes using coconut oil, almond butter, shredded coconut, honey, cocoa and vanilla. Easy to fix and very tasty.
