    Is this true? krill fried rice? - Recipes - Zimbio

    Do I need to pop all the shells off? Otherwise, I found me some cheap seafood!

    Krill are just another prawny thing...article says to pop off shells, and 3 for 15g sounds pricey to me! But yeah, if you find some go for it...

      I paid $2.50 for a standard meat container filled with them. 70z. or 200g. And found a little fish mixed in.


      Ate a few bites. Recipes I see just have you mulch them into other food, shells and all, which seems like a good idea. They are very prickly to chew up!

      I see no other indication that the shells should be removed. It might have just been one random notion somebody had.

        Where'd you find your krill?

        I'd imagine they'd be rich in calcium, ground into your dinner.
