  • What's your favorite Primal \ Paleo Lunch?

For those of us that are confined to a cube all day and do not have access to a stove. I just wanted to poll other members to see what you eat or bring for lunch that follows the primal\paleo diet. Please include recipes where applicable.

Leftovers, generally. Baby mixed greens and chunks of grilled meat. ;-)

Assuming you have access to a MWAVE? Cut up leftover meat with a vegetable mix-such as caul, broc, and carrots- in a simmering sauce(curry) whilst showering and then tupperwared for warming up later for lunch.
Ground pulled pork in a sushi wrap. When nuked the wrap slightly shrinks and can be eaten as a sandwich.

Baby spinach seasoned with a bit of salt, garlic powder and onion powder.
Tuna with a pinch of salt and about a tspn of coconut oil mixed in.

When it is time to eat mix it all together! You can add other fav veggies too this is just the basic idea.

          Big Ass Salad!!!

          My faves are:

          Chicken Caesar

Chipotle Steak Salad (Basically I grill an extra steak rare, and then slice it when it's cold. I like it room temp so I take it out of the fridge about 30 min before I want to eat. The dressing is just An oil vinegar dressing with Chipotle powder, cumin, lime salt and pepper. I throw purple onion, salsa and sourcream on top and a bit of shredded cheese. Super yum.
The more I see the less I know for sure.

Typically a BAS with whatever kind of leftover meat is in the fridge from the night before.

I like it with lots of fresh lime! Soooooooo good and super easy. Plus the room temp rare steak is so silky and delicious, I almost prefer it that way.

Or, ham, lettuce, tomato and mayo wraps (use the lettuce as the 'bread').
Disclaimer: I eat 'meat and vegetables' ala Primal, although I don't agree with the carb curve. I like Perfect Health Diet and WAPF Lactofermentation a lot.

There are no cheat days. There are days when you eat primal and days you don't. As soon as you label a day a cheat day, you're on a diet. Don't be on a diet. ~~ Fernaldo

I dunno if you could take this to work, but I love to cook wild caught shrimp in coconut oil, then toss it with avocado smashed with cilantro, key lime juice, and macadamia nut oil. I call it shrimp mash. I add salsa verde and hot sauce
