  • Healthy that looks unhealthy (to CW), suggestions?

Here is the setup: My boss has invited one of our clients over for some pizza and beer tomorrow afternoon. Obviously I won't be partaking. My boss looked worried when I said I couldn't have that sort of thing anymore, he literally looked at me as if I was possibly dying and feared for my health.

Anyhow, I wanted to bring in my own lunch of something healthy by PB standards, but artery clogging by CW standards.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

Would it be bad/wrong to drink a can of coconut milk to myself?

Bacon and butter are always fun in this situation

Bacon is most definitely on the menu in some way. Hell, that would probably be enough to confuse them when I say, "I've decided to start eating healthy."

Meatza! Leftover for lunch would be very good. :0)

You don't really want to act like a dick at your boss's party in front of a client, do you?
Just bring a nice meat/cheese/veggie/fruit platter and don't make a big deal about it.

You can drink a can of coconut milk if you want. I've tried before and the texture of it by itself is pretty awful because of the thickeners added. You probably won't enjoy it as much as you expect.

I think a nice ham, bacon, and cheese crust-less quiche would be pretty good, especially if you ate a giant one and proceeded to complain about how stuffed you were. Nothing like gluttony to bring us all together

Well no, I'm not a dick, the client is also very easy going and often drops in to shoot the shit. So really nothing I do would in any way offend them.

You could also just eat the toppings off of the pizza, and offer the coconut milk to share.

what about an antipasto tray (not a crappy one but like a good quality one) with fresh salamis (not perfectly primal, but not soysages either), little mozzarellas, olives, tomatoes, etc. lots of non-paleos eat antipasto, i don't think it has too much connotation as healthy or unhealthy, and it can fit in with other party foods that non-paleos eat like little bread slices or chips.

bacon wrapped in bacon, dipped in chocolate, wrapped in bacon, dredged in coconut flour, and deep fried in lard

                        hahaha

                        I joke.
