    My hubby put on a 14lb Beef Briskit yesterday and awe was it ever good!


    So any ideas on for my dinner with leftovers? I was thinking maybe saute it with butter, onion and cabbage!

    That sounds pretty darn good!


    Question - did you "corn" that brisket first, or did you just grill it as-is?


    I have a pretty big one in my freezer, but don't really have a container in which to cure it and am wondering if I can just cook 'er up and have it be edible.

        Oh my that looks delicious If it were me....I'd just be eating brisket by itself for leftovers all week! YUM! Although, sauteed onions make everything even better, so maybe do some of those afterall

          I don't know the term "corn", I am guessing you mean maybe soaking in a brine like we do with poultry before we smoke it. Hubby made a basic rub, not spicy and let er rip. He tended to it all day making sure the temp stayed consistant and all. it was sooooo juicy and devine.

                        I have a venison ham roast that I'm going to be cookin' up tonight.


                        Any suggestions?


                        Was thinking of oven-roasting, covered, with carrots, onions, sweet taters, green peppers and a balsamic reduction.
