  • non whole 30 cooking ingredients replacement ideas please

gearing up for whole 30 and trying to stock some replacement recipie ingredients. some, but not all things i need substitute: worchesterchire sauce, soy sauce, wine (red & white),various commercial spice products-like everglades seasoning. can use almond or coconut flours for breading replacements. tried them before and really didn't like them at all. any other ideas or experiences? thanks.

the only thing I can suggest for soy sauce is coconut aminos. They're wonderful

Nope. You'll be just fine without them. Learn to appreciate the taste of things without sauces.

I think the point of the whole 30 is that you are supposed to NOT try to find substitutions for those foods.

Try some kind of vinegar (apple cider vinegar or balsamic, as naturally sourced as possible) instead of the wines, but I agree with jammies.

If you are doing a stir-fry, try spicing it up with fish sauce, sechwan peppers, ginger or sesame oil to discover something new. Sesame oil is a rare treat though. Or try non-asian recipes, using home-made mayo, paprika, caraway seed, mustard etc.

Don't do bread replacement. Bread is totally useless. Have some veggies to soak up the sauces instead.

my favorite stir fry sauce is 1/4c almond butter, 1/4c sesame oil, 1/4c coconut aminos, 2 clove garlic, and a dash of chili powder. Obliterate in food processor, pour over your stir fry in the pan and coat well.
