I 100% agree w/ soror's rec. It rocks--just don't follow their recs for fat (in terms of the amounts--just eat more

There are grain free cookbooks for the SCD and GAPS diets, but I've personally found them lacking (I'm certain this is largely due to being dairy free--they use a lot of cheese/yogurt stuff that my son can't tolerate...) Out of all of those, the one w/ the best reviews (that I've seen) is: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/159...SIN=159233282X (It may contain beans/legumes, along w/ honey, just fyi--it is NOT a paleo/primal cookbook, but one for the SCD which happens to be grain and starch free.) Then there are 'treat' books like Bruce Fife's Coconut Flour Cookbook, and Elana Amsterdam's Gluten Free Almond Flour Cookbook--both use sugar or natural sweeteners though, and are more for desserts than meals.

There are also those online paleo cookbooks (if you google them you'll find them) that are quite expensive IMO for a pdf--if I'm going to pay that, I want to hold the book in my hand!

I do love The Garden of Eating though and keep going back to it for more great recipes, and I also find the info on hunter gatherer diets in the opening fascinating and helpful. For some of the recipes from the book, check out http://www.thegardenofeatingdiet.com/TheBook.asp My favorite recipes are the better bbq sauce, frosty fruit whip, and the squash pudding pie. I must admit, I don't go to cookbooks often for my meals (which is why main dishes are not in that list, although there are a lot of main dish and side dish recipes that are totally primal compliant.) But every time I've tried something from the book I've enjoyed it and made it more than once... HTH!

I, like the rest of us here, am anxiously awaiting Mark's PB cookbook!!!
