  • Primal Hot and Sour Soup?

I am on the look out for a Primal version or Hot and Sour soup. I dunno why, but I am really craving it, and by obvious reasons don't want any tofu. Is there a good tofu substitute? Like would potatoes do just fine?

Scramble an egg and cook it without breaking it up in the pan. Take it off the heat and slice into rectangles.

The Celiac Vegan: Gluten-free Soy-free Vegan Hot and Sour Soup

It's up to you if you want to use mung bean noodles. I think they make kelp noodles you could substitute. Hell, I'd use rice noodles.

Well, shiitake's already there by definition of a hot and sour soup, I was going to replace tofu, i.e. a flavoress spongy thinggie... I like the egg idea. I will do egg-white sponge! That has about the texture and flavor of tofu, lol!

I have shiritake noodles. 20 cals and 4 g carbs per serving. The only thing Japanese I like. But I don't like noodles in hot& sour, so should be good!

The bulky base of enoki mushrooms is very spongey.

I don't want kelp noodles I like my shiritakes, but I didn't need any noodles!

It worked great with cabbage, shiitakes, pork roast bits and egg white sponge. Mmgh, can't wait to have my second bowl tonight!
