  • Crunchy Breakfast?

I am just beginning this healthy way of eating! My favorite thing in the morning to have with coffee is dry Kashi cereal. Since I am only suppose to eat fruit and veggies, any ideas on something with morning coffee? If not, I know I will adjust to the new plan for a healthy body! Just thought I'd put it out there for those of who have been at this longer! :O)

Fresh vegetables (like radishes, jicama or mini cucumbers) with or without dairy and herbs. Fruit or vegetable or mushroom chips if fresh ones are not crunchy or dry enough for your palate. I am not sure why you are supposed to only eat fruit and vegetables? You can have eggs & meats ans soups for breakfast. Hot broth is actually far nicer than coffee as a morning picker-upper. You probably would get replies about various nut-based granolas and the like, but I would advise against it.

Thanks for your advice! I appreciate your time!
I started out looking into the warrior diet which is fruits and veggies only during the day. This is suppose to help get of stubborn fat. As I was researching the warrior lifestyle, I happened upon Primal! :O)

that sounds good! some of the best 'cereal' i had was a raw concoction of almonds, nuts, coconut, with shredded/grated apple.

Fruit = candy. Fat, vegetables and meat are the foundation of healthy human food. Do not start your day with candy. Seriously. I have a can of coconut milk for breakfast and it's perfect. Gets me warm and keeps me full 'til my lunch or dinner. Others prefer eggs and meat, and that seems like a great way to go, too. But to slap your body with the sugar stick first thing in the morning just sounds like a fail plan if you're trying to improve your health.

Yes, it's Aroy-D coconut milk. I pour it into a cup, warm it up and drink it. It's better warmed up. I've been lazy and using the microwave, but I'm switching to pan tomorrow. Never know about microwaves.

I was adding it to my coffee but now I'm trying to quit coffee...

Holy crow. I don't think I could do a whole can. Hat's off to you.

I keep it simple. Cold meats. I really do feel at my best when I get around 30-50 grams of protein in the morning. But I sometimes think I'd like to make this:
