Made this last week... was tasty. Think mine was a bit dry as my oven is a bit wonky and meat inside was cooked but bacon was not crispy so ended up overcooking beef Still rocked, though! Would love to put it in a lettuce leaf with burger fixings and eat like that next time.
Well, shoot. Definitely don't want it dry on the inside. You aren't using extra lean ground beef, are you? I think ours is probably 80/20. I like eating it with a nice and a fork, but yeah, lettuce wraps work too. Although I cut our slices pretty big, they were "heavy", and sometimes the lettuce wraps just make a mess!
