  • Favorite Sunday Football Dip??

I am going to the Broncos/Chargers game on Sunday with a big group and we are tailgating before. I have been tasked with making/bringing a dip of some sort. I can't go with my stand-by Guacamole because somebody else is bringing it. Anybody have yummy dip recipes to share? Something I can serve with veggies (for me) and chips/crackers for the others.

Sour cream/onion dip. Saute chopped onions until they are caramelized. Mix with sour cream. Season.

I really like Baba Ghanoush from Sarah Fragoso's Everyday Paleo. It's tasty AND fun to say!

Yum! Those are great ideas. I love Buffalo Chicken dip but am trying to stay away from dairy (best recipe I have has cheese in it). I'll look up some of these for sure.

I'm making this one this weekend for t-giving:

A-Freaking-Mazing Artichoke Dip | Joyful Abode

            "a-freaking-mazing artichoke dip"

Grain free and has some primal dipping ideas too.

You can do a fresh salsa dip -- lots of good Hatch Chilies in the markets right now. Just onions, tomato (and the heirlooms are in, too) and chopped chilies, maybe some cilantro. Goes well with the guac someone else is bringing.

Or you could just bring a bottle of scotch which you may prefer if the Broncos keep playing like they have -- especially against the Chargers! Have fun anyway. (Myself, I think I'll go to the mall and avoid the heartache. At least CU isn't at home this weekend.)
