  • Burger recipes!! Share and drool.

Hi fellow cave people. I've really been into burgers lately. Got to grill why the grilling is good! Can already feel fall in the air. Here is my latest burger recipe with the slightly controversial fresh corn. It is delicious!

Corn? That's the second corn reference I've seen here today. What gives?

          I love burgers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

          Sorry.

My mom and I make burgers pretty frequently, lately we've taken to adding random stuff into the patty. We made beef, bacon and spicy pork sausage patties the other night, those always come out awesome. Throw a fried egg on top. So good.
I used to seriously post here, now I prefer to troll.

I've been on a burger kick as well. Here's one variation I make when I want a treat (mango + cheese)

              Sirloin patty
              Butter lettuce
              bacon
              egg
              mango
              tomato
              roasted red pepper
              cheese
              fresh basil
              hot salsa
              squirt of tomato paste

Also add in avocado when I can get em.

yeah I mean, that must be a whole freaking ounce of corn right there. The OP will be very lucky if they don't drop dead from the insulin overdose.

                      Bacon Blue Cheese Burger

2 1/2 pound patties 85/15 beef (season to your liking)
1/4 cup blue cheese (roll into a ball and press flat)
4 slices of bacon 1/2 cooked

Place blue cheese patty onto meat patty #1
Place bacon on top of cheese
Place meat patty #2 on top of that, seal the edges, then grill for about 5-7 minutes each side.

                      Hands only when eating this:-)

Not a recipe but an idea, the other day at work was a food day with burgers and hot dogs. The burgers were maybe 1/2 inch thick and kinda dry so since I was forgoing a bun anyways I just used the patties as a bun?

I keep it simple, just add cheese (pref cheddar). I ALWAYS add Worcestershire sauce when I make my burgers.

Another thing to remember is meatballs. No need to improv a bun. I took 1# of GB, added S&P, some Italian seasoning, 2 beaten eggs, 3 strips of cooked and crumbled bacon, and a few shots of black truffle olive oil. Tasty!
