    Try this recipe
The flour added at the end is used as a thickener and can be eliminated from your recipe (although I'd have made a roux rather than just mixing it with water - yuck). If you need to thicken the sauce cook it down a bit longer.

One I make from time to time involves:
      quarter the rabbit and sear
      Sear onions
deglaze pan with 75ml red wine.

Into the slow cooker throw in the rabbit, 2 sticks cinnamon, 3 bay leaves, the onions, 1 cracked bulb of garlic, carrots, celery, rosemary, 100ml red wine, and enough chicken broth to top it up so the liquid is about 1.5cm over the rabbit. Put the cooker on slow heat for however long you want to cook it. (looking for a nice pulled pork like texture.

Pick meat from half the rabbit put into you food processor with some of the vegetables, and then blend it up while adding 50-100ml of cream. Once out, mont with butter, Serve as a sauce over *something* (I used to do this for papardelle), and then serve the other half of the rabbit on top of the sauce.

@davem Oh, wow, that sounds so amazing! I've got rabbits running all around my garden lately. See this photo. Your recipe makes me want to set a little trap in spite of the cuteness. :-)
