    Gluten-free cheesy biscuits « peace – love – nature

Apparently the shift in weather (warm & rainy, as opposed to cold & rainy) has inspired me to create new recipes, 'cause here's another one for you. When I was making these, I didn't even think about the Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit connection, but when I bit into the first one, that's immediately what it reminded me of. YUM!

These are best eaten warm slathered in butter, which I daresay is the best way to eat pretty much anything.

These look fantastic - I definitely need to get coconut flour.

When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life.

When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down "happy". They told me I didn’t understand the assignment.

I told them they didn’t understand life.

thanks for this! i like it b/c it's a drop biscuit (i have no room to roll out anything).

I have been craving a biscuit so bad that i nearly bought some of those cream cheese biscuits from WF. Luckily they don't sell singles anymore, so i dodged that bullet.

              gonna try this fo sho.

This is the only reason we ever went to Red Lobster. Thank you!

I absolutely love those, and made them once before starting Primal. I found out the packages shredded cheese is coated with something to keep it from sticking together, and you need to make the biscuits from a block of cheddar. Mine were kind of dry.

BUT MY BIG QUESTION~~~~ is why are you eating the flour in Bisquick???? Am I missing something here?

YES I WAS: it was the illusive coconut flour I can't find locally, and haven't ordered yet. BRAVO, I'll order coconut flour.
Those biscuits are to die for!!

I can't view the link for the recipe but I do know that Bisquik has come out with a gluten free mix. That could be what was used.

Yep, I just use coconut flour! Coconut flour + eggs + butter seems to be the basis of most of baking.
