  • Heart; how to cook it?

I just scored some grass-fed beef heart at whole foods for 2.99/lb but I'm not sure how to cook it. I was thinking about throwing it in a dutch oven with some veg and bacon and just letting it stew. Any thoughts?

I've had the best results for beef heart when I cook it low and slow. I usually toss it in the oven covered with some tomatos, onions and a bit of water in the bottom. I'm guessing dutch oven with bacon and veg would also be amazing

My mum usually stuffs them with parsley and then cook them in a pan for quite a while... not sure how long though. Low heat for a few hours?

But I believe it wouldn't be bad with some bacon wrapped around them
