    Has anyone rendered their own duck fat? How much duck did you need? Is it similar to rendering lard?

    I'm a bit intimidated to try and the stuff seems overpriced at the local stores.

    The process is supposed to be the same as for lard.


    I've never had enough duck fat to try...

    The "Seven Deadly Sins"

    Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc) . . . . . Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant etc)
    Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc) . . . Refined foods (salt/sugars etc )
    Legumes (soy/beans/peas etc)
