Or what about this: "Eponymous Umami Burger": Parmesan, roasted tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, onion.
Or how about some Primal dessert?: "Chocolate Mint ice cream Sandwedge": Mint chocolate chip ice cream in between two giant green macaroons (gluten free CY, made from almond flour), dipped deeply and thickly in dark chocolate.
This comes by care of Dr. Eades in his review of a restaurant in Los Feliz, CA, called "Umami Burger" ( http://foodshethought.blogspot.com/2...ide-is-it.html ), but I bet I can draw inspiration from these flavor combinations and create some gasps from my family and guests this holiday season!
