  • Forgetting Boiled Eggs on the Stove????

If you are like me and put eggs on the stove and then FORGET about them, which is the case with me nearly every single time...........

The Cuisinart Egg Cooker is your friend. $12

I got this Saturday and gave it a spin last night. The egg cooker turned itself off all by itself. The eggs peeled perfectly.

I am not a fan of kitchen gadgets in general, largely because I hate stuff on my counters, but this is a definite win!

I REALLY forgot about eggs on the stove once, for 8 hours. Luckily they only exploded all over, even the ceiling, and didn't start on fire or anything. My place smelled like super nastified rotten eggs for ages.

I've never forgotten about eggs. Forgotten about baking sweet taters a couple times, though.... Anyone want a charred husk?
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, steak in one hand, chocolate in the other, yelling "Holy F***, What a Ride!"

My dog is my overcooked food alarm. She barks like crazy to let us know we are charring something if we forget about something.

Yep, that is the one I have now.

TigerDirect has them for $12 but it might be a 5 egger. Not sure. I seriously thought I would hate the thing. Thank you AmEx rewards. LOL
