  • 1st smoothie with coconut milk!

    Right this minute I am drinking my first smoothie to include coconut milk (the kind in the can).

    Finally realized what everyone is talking about ---- this thing is amazing! Even my non-Primal husband liked the taste

    Just thanking the universe for coconuts and the forum for explaining EVERYTHING to us rookies

    Yum. Would you mind posting your recipe? I'm a newbie that has just discovered coconut milk.

      3-4 ounces of coconut milk (from a can/unsweetened verson)
      2-4 ounces of water
      1 scoop protein powder (mine is chocolate)
      1/4 cup of blue berries - frozen
      1/4 cup of strawberries - frozen
      couple of pieces of frozen mango
      3/4 of a medium banana (not frozen)

      blend until smooth

        oh the can of coconut milk is also room temp -- give it a quick stir. This recipe will use about 1/2 the can - refrigerate the rest in another container.

            I'm drinking mine right now too.

            1/3-1/2 can coconut milk
            1 tsp lemon cod liver oil
            1 c. baby spinach
            Frozen peaches and pineapple to taste
            Enough water to make my blender run (it apparently has issues)
            Most people don't realize how much energy it takes for me to pretend to be normal.

            If I wanted to listen to an asshole, I'd fart.

                30g Genuine Health's Whey Protein Isolate Vanilla (no funky ingredients)
                10g Cocoa

                ---

                1 Banana, sliced and frozen
