The rolled lamb shoulder is slow roasting in the oven and I'm preparing some veggies to roast with it. I've poured the roasting juices out of the pan and popped them into that little beauty above. The fat has floated to the top and I've poured off the juices from underneath to make gravy from. The fat has gone partly over the veggies and partly into a pot to use later.
What a beautiful invention.
