  • cauliflower pizza crust

    I love making pizza with almond flour, but I also have had to failed attempts making it with cauliflower. I use one egg for every one cup of cauliflower. The crust seems to fall apart every time. I put the mixture in the oven without the topping for about 15 minutes then take it out and put the topping on and cook it for another 10 minutes. Hope someone can help

    i wish i could help, i tried this the other day and fail! i'm gonna try the meatza crust. i don't think i could mess that up;-)
    maybe add more egg to get it to stick better? good luck

      You're adding cheese too right? I think most recipes call for equal amounts of cauliflower and shredded cheese.

        I was not adding cheese to the crust. I will add some shredded goat cheese and see how it turns out. Thank you

          Most cauliflower pizza crust recipes I have seen use mozarella - I think it holds together better.

            I made some the other day...used boring ol' cheddar and it worked fine...1 cup of cheese for 1 cup of cauli....and everyone ate it!

              i make this crust a lot- make sure you use PLENTY of egg and cheese.

                I don't think goat cheese would work due to it's moisture content.

                I've made it in a casserole pan when I didn't have enough cheese on hand to add enough to the crust. Still baked it first, before adding toppings, and it was delicious.
