So, now that i'm 1 week into being primal, i have these cube steaks that we ALLWAYS make country fried steak with . . aka flour etc. . since that's no longer an option, does anyone have any fun /tasty /interesting recipes for cube steak?

What about using almond meal instead of the flour?

Hmm, just wetting it and putting it in almond meal, then tossing it in the frying pan? i suppose i could do that, is that acceptably primal? (im new to this)

To do this, get two plastic bags. Put one egg, yolk broken and mixed into the white in one and some almond flour in the other. You may want to use gloves. In my experience the egg & almond flour mixture likes to stick to your fingers.

I slow cooked a few cube steaks in apple cider vinegar a few weeks ago after browning them in bacon grease. I dubbed the result "tart beef". It was indeed interesting and not unpalatable, but I am not sure I would do it again.

So i did it last night, eggs + almond meal, and fried, it was AMAZING, better than using flour! It excites me because this is the first time i've used a primal substitute for something i would normally do, and it turned out GREAT.
