    Found this while surfing about statins....Has anyone read it? It's kind of long, but the conclusion is basically 'eat paleo and get lots of sun.' I'm amazed at how many people are on statins these days.

    I'm sure the drug companies aren't gearing up to do their own study

        I just read that essay. I knew that statins were bad news before, but its good to see exactly what they do. What scares me though is that this is the first I have learned about glycation. Oxidation is widely discussed by people on all sides of the diet spectrum, but information that excessive blood glucose and fructose causes similar damage has not been so disseminated? I get the feeling that market forces have been at work here. Thanks for the link, I learned a lot.
