  • an alternative to facebook

    Hi everyone,
have you heard of the DIASPORA? Seems a pretty cool alternative to facebook.

it looks like four college guys work-in-progress. I'll get interested when there's something to download and some people using it.

it's kind of polycentric in regards to different networks based on general topics. I tend to frequent FR33 Agents, which originally splintered from Beaurocrash when they were taken over by a very unlibertarian douche masquerading as some sort of political radical

              oh sorry, English login

I tend to use Facebook because my family is on there, and none of them are likely to move elsewhere. Friends and colleagues there too. It's a pity in a way, as I have a few issues with Facebook.

I would really like to get off facebook. I am not posting status updates anymore. I hate how they make it so hard to give up. Kinda just want to go and delete my account right this moment. Hold on.. Think I'm gonna... F$^#¥ facebook.

                      Facebook

Although issues with Facebook, it is a good place to bring messages across to targeted people. If you like to communicate with people interested in health, you can select any interest, age group, country etc.. which opens up a totally new world compared to Google advertising.

I guess there will always be positive and negative sides...
