Just knowing that there are still kids left in the world that can still have so much fun without the latest game system, ICrap, etc. is heartening. And I have seen these kids for real, even in the midst of what we would call poverty, they are still being kids.
Can't find it now, but there is a picture of some tribal kids lamenting something like, "I hear kids in America are forced to sit at desks and stare at screens, and when they try to move, they are punished and poisoned." and another kid says, "We should take up a donation for them."

Looking at my group of mates at a bbq today and seeing all the kids underfoot (7 under 3yrs!) and how they've become awesome parents. That made me smile. I hope I'd be as good if I become a Mum!

A little boy (maybe 7 years old) dressed up as Dr. Who for Halloween!

The "let's bring in treats on Halloween" idea at work. Five of us brought in "treats". Only two people brought cookies and cupcakes. The rest of us brought: deviled eggs, a veggie tray, sliced cheese and meat. I think I'm slowly converting my coworkers!

God. Specifically we had a handful of baptisms today at church and have more tomorrow, I think 20 people this weekend. That's always wonderful. Tonight's service was especially nice, at a few points I was actually smiling so big my cheeks hurt.
