thank you michael S and everybody i am far from where i want to be but at the age of 40 with hormonal issues and life long battle with extra weight, lean physique doesn't happen easy or quick if at all. it has been a long journey and i have learned so much about my body and health and honestly, that is what counts the most. so all i can do is just keep going, keep experimenting, it is not a diet it is a lifestyle as you all know. and you folks are the inspiration, keep those pics coming

You look plenty lean to me, myska. Honestly, I thought I was looking at a hot 20-something from the picture :-)

            • Yeah exactly Myska... out of curiosity, what's your goal? You look really good but you say you're far away from your goal?

Oh please. Since when is 20 the magical 'hot' number.

And myska, if you stand by what you said, about far from being where you want to be, you might want to think twice about what you're doing. It's obvious to anyone that you are lean, maybe even too lean, and the image you have of your body is askew.

Nevermind, I found it. Yeah, idk what your goals are, but that seems pretty lean.

Yeah, ok. People of any age can be beautiful. I did say "20-something" so that could have meant 29 ;-) Just in general, younger people have better looking bodies/are leaner. I don't think anyone argues against that. I meant it as a compliment to myska, not as a dig against anyone over the age of 20.

                            • Fit-shaming, LOL!

I think the concern is less about the "lean" and more about thinking there is no lean, when there is obviously lean. One is envy; the other is compassion.
