It was the major corporations; that early in this century decided that the mainstay of America's diet would be processed wheat; cereal and bread. And spinoffs like Kelloggs Pop Tarts; sugar infested processed starch and accompanying cereals. Nabisco made Wheat "Thins". But it kept dentists in business; and statin drug makers profitable; and gastroenterologists happy and the diet industry booming. Unfortunately it make the population obese; sick; and popping Prilosec and Rolaids and Gas X for their irritable bowels. But the internet has allowed us to create a community ; and there is wisdom in numbers. The tide is turning. The years of Bad Nutritional Science are ending.
I believe our markets do this once per month at each site, so since they're all on different days, there are three days per month to use this program. A 2for1 is certainly something I would use. And because of the way the market is set up, it would apply to the few venders who are selling animal products also.
