  • Better website title?

So, apples aren't really high ranking up in the PB. Maybe it's time for a new name?

    I propose Mark's Daily Scrapple.

    Close enough?

(bit of humor, have a good day )

Isn't it a reference to, "an apple a day..." like? I think that it's clever.
"Ah, those endless forests, and their horror-haunted gloom! For what eternities have I wandered through them, a timid, hunted creature, starting at the least sound, frightened of my own shadow, keyed-up, ever alert and vigilant, ready on the instant to dash away in mad flight for my life. For I was the prey of all manner of fierce life that dwelt in the forest, and it was in ecstasies of fear that I fled before the hunting monsters."

Of course, commercial scrapple has cornmeal in it, and traditionally I think buckwheat was sometimes used. I would eat it if it had rice meal in it. I might in fact make it with rice grits in it. Soon. I have a pork shoulder...

You might want to get that checked... I think there is cream for that.

Cream for what? Scrapple is made by boiling pork, chopping it, cooking it in the broth with cornmeal, and packing it into loaf pans.

It also contains saliva glands and whatnot.

                  I'd forgotten about the cornmeal.
